Schedules and Calendars

Reposted from...July 2006

If you have a need to share calendars for an organization or a group or just within your family Google’s Calendar is something you should try. It is free once you register with Google (which has lots of other advantages... so is definitely worth doing). I had a choice of making it public or private. The entries were very easy to add and edit and in less than an hour I had 4 months of activities in my sample calendar. Try it out you may find this helpful to you.
A word of caution, I am very wary of programs like this so be very careful when adding entries to your calendar. The advantage of this calendar service is that it can be shared...even shared with yourself when you don't have your planner but.... Whether you make your schedule private or public I would not put specific information here such as indicating you won't be home or things you would not want other to see or use to their advantage.
